A real winner! Magnificent, aromatic flowers!

Thick dark green leaves with prominent central vein, up to 20cm x 8cm.

Blooms: Vivid cup-shaped flowers which transition from mauve in the centre through to deep purple/burgundy on the outer edges, measuring 70mm in diameter, with matching burgundy corona. Up to 15 flowers per umbel. Flowers last up to 3 weeks. Fragrance is a glorious blend of citrus and gardenia.
Sun exposure: Best in bright indirect light. Flowers more readily in profuse light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining mix. Keep reasonably dry in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Known affectionately as ‘Big Mac’. An Australian native. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
